Everyone welcome
Accessibility
This hub is meant to be readable and usable by everyone. Here is what we have done, and how to tell us where we have fallen short.

Our commitment
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA across this website. Accessibility is treated as part of building a page, not as something checked afterwards.
What we have done
- Semantic structure. Pages use proper landmarks, a single logical heading hierarchy, and native HTML elements wherever possible.
- Keyboard access. All interactive elements are reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator on every focusable element.
- Skip link. A "skip to content" link is the first focusable element on every page.
- Colour contrast. Text and interface colours are chosen to meet or exceed AA contrast ratios against their backgrounds.
- Reduced motion. Animations and smooth scrolling are disabled automatically when your system requests reduced motion.
- Text scaling. Layouts use relative units and remain usable when text is enlarged to 200%.
- Descriptive links. Link text describes its destination rather than relying on "click here".
- Decorative graphics. Ornamental illustrations are hidden from assistive technology.
- Native disclosure. Expandable FAQ sections use native
<details>elements, which are well supported by screen readers. - Fast, lightweight pages. The site is static with minimal JavaScript, which helps on slower connections and older devices.
- Plain language. We explain Traditional Chinese Medicine terms as we use them and maintain a glossary.
Known limitations
We are not aware of significant outstanding barriers at present. If we identify one, we will note it here along with our plan to address it.
Some content links to external websites — including research databases and regulatory bodies — whose accessibility we do not control.
Tell us about a barrier
If you encounter a barrier using this website, we would genuinely like to know. Email cosmeticlabco@gmail.com with:
- The page address
- What you were trying to do
- What happened
- Your browser, device and any assistive technology you were using
We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within five business days and to resolve issues as quickly as we reasonably can. If you need content from this site in a different format, ask and we will do our best to provide it.
Ongoing work
We review accessibility when adding new features or page types, and we test with keyboard navigation and automated tooling as part of that process. Feedback from readers is the most valuable input we receive.
